Sycamore overlooks Abbey Green, with a delightful view through the topmost boughs of the 200-year-old tree. Furnished with a superking double or twin beds and a cosy sofa, Sycamore is a warm and welcoming room to retreat to at the end of a long day. Please note that the sofa can be converted into a 4ft sofa-bed for a supplementary fee.

Lilliput Court Book Now

Lilliput Court is named for the tiny courtyard over which its window faces, at the side of the house. Our smallest room, it has a kingsize double bed and as you would expect, a spacious en suite shower room. With its light and airy character Lilliput Court proves that small really can mean beautiful and comfortable.

Lord Nelson Book Now

Lord Nelson is situated on the first floor in what was the drawing room of the Georgian house, with three huge original windows looking out over Abbey Green. Our flagship room, Lord Nelson has a stunning 6-foot four-poster bed and beautifully appointed seating area, comprising a pair of armchairs and a sofa where guests can enjoy the warmth of the elegant real-flame gas fire. This is the perfect room to celebrate a special occasion in luxury. Please note that the sofa can be converted into a 4-foot sofa-bed for a supplementary fee.

Asher Suite Book Now

The Asher Suite is our larger suite of rooms for families and groups. The main room accommodates three guests with a superking double or twin beds and an additional single bed and there is a further bed in the attached single room. Comfortable armchairs, plentiful storage space and an enormous bathroom with bath, separate shower and dual washbasins, all ensure that the whole family will be comfortable here.

Lady Hamilton Book Now

Lady Hamilton is a spacious ground floor room with original wood panelling and a fireplace which was discovered during renovation. Furnished with a superking double or twin beds, a pair of comfortable armchairs and a modern, wet-room style en suite shower room, Lady Hamilton has an air of understated luxury.

Westwood Suite Book Now

The Westwood Suite is a ground floor family room ideal for three guests. The spacious main room includes a superking double or twin beds, luxurious sofa and elegant leather club chair. A further full-sized single bed in the small adjacent room gives a degree of privacy for a third guest. Both share the newly refurbished en suite bathroom which includes low-sided bath, separate wet-room style shower enclosure and many other discreet touches that allow enhanced mobility without compromising on style.

A charming attic-style bedroom in the Jane Austen Wing, furnished with a king-size bed and cunningly integrated storage solutions, the Elinor Dashwood room is named for the elder of the two Dashwood sisters in Jane Austen's earliest novel, Sense and Sensibility. Named for the heroine of her most famous novel, Pride and Prejudice, the Elizabeth Bennet room in the Jane Austen Wing is spacious and airy, with two tall sash windows bringing in natural daylight all year round. The room is well appointed, with a super-king double or twin beds, armchair and dressing table. The adjacent private bathroom boasts a full-size bathtub and is similarly generous in size. Please note that this bathroom currently has no shower - though this will not be a problem for all the Mr. Darcys out there...
