At Bay Tree House we aim to provide our guests with a comfortable and relaxing stay.

Being on the doorstep of this beautiful City we are just 5 minutes walk from the Thermae Bath Spa, The Roman Baths, The Royal Crescent and The Circus, as well as the vast selection of shops! With an excellent choice of restaurants nearby, we are happy to help with recommendations and reservations. The train and bus stations are within 15 minutes walk or a short taxi ride.

If you are arriving by car, we have two private parking spaces at the rear of the house, and can also offer free on-street parking for the duration of your stay.

Our rooms are stylish and homely along with a friendly and professional service, with all the personal touches of a small family run business. We have been awarded a 'Visit Britain' Breakfast Award for our homemade and local produce.

We have five rooms including two en-suite double rooms with brand new shower rooms and an en-suite family room, which has a double and a single bed and also has a brand new shower room with 'his' and hers' basins.
The second floor has a standard double bedroom next door to a standard twin room (these rooms are not ensuite, but they have a shared bathroom, with bath and shower over). This floor is perfect for families with two children or with older children, or for friends that are happy to share a bathroom and have a floor of the house to themselves.

We also have a studio apartment suitable for those who prefer there own space or a home from home - suitable for those needing a longer stay, or a base in Bath on a short term basis?

STUDIO APARTMENT Book Now

After something different?...a romantic escape for two, a walkers paradise or a retreat for business. The studio is a one bedroom apartment situated at the rear of Bay Tree House.
The contemporary studio apartment has an ensuite bedroom with lots of storage, iron and ironing board, ipod docking station, TV and central heating. The cosy sitting room is light and airy with two easy chairs and a fold down dining table. The kitchenette has sink, microwave and a fridge.
The studio is on the lower ground floor and has it own private access via steps from the car park at the back of the house so it is self contained.
Prices are based on room only, although basic provisions are provided, (milk, bread, cereals, juices, butter and preserves). Towels and bedlinen included.
Rates are negotiable for stays of 7 nights or more

Check out is 10.00am on day of departure.

SMOKING
Smoking is not permitted in any part of the building including guest bedrooms, reception and breakfast room. Where we suspect smoking has accured in a room we reserve the right to levy a charge up to the cost of an extra room night. This is to cover the costs of extra cleaning to bring the room back to a 'smoke free' status for the next guest.

Terms & Conditions
No charges will be made until your arrival but your credit cards details are held as security for the booking in case of cancellation or non payment.
Our required notice to cancel without cost is 3 days prior to the commencement of the first nights' stay. All cancellations must be confirmed by us (Bay Tree House) in writing, before your cancellation is acknowledged/actioned. Your cancellation notification must come from the same email address/details that the booking was made with.
Cancelling without this 3 day notice means that the full cost of the accommodation reserved will be charged for unless we are able to re-let the room(s). This also applies should you subsequently amend your booking by shortening your stay. The card details that were given on the booking will be charged for the full amount due. If we are able to re-let any or all of the reserved days the card will be credited with the relevant amount.
Please note that there are no exceptions to this policy and if you are booking for a number of days you may wish to consider taking out a suitable form of insurance
Travel insurance is highly recommended. Travellers from outside the UK should contact their travel agent. UK travellers can obtain insurance from www.travelinsurance.co.uk
