Elegant, unique, Grade II listed Georgian family house with romantic four poster bedrooms, half testers and a cosy south facing single.

We serve mostly organic and fair traded breakfasts until 11.00am. These usually consist of tea, coffee and fruit juices, toast, muffins or brioche, yogurts and fresh fruit - followed by a freshly cooked full english - bacon, eggs, mushrooms, tomato, sausage and black pudding. Vegetarian substitues are vegetarian sausages, hash browns and baked beans. If you need soya milk or gluten free bread or sausages, please let us know in advance.

The guest house has a friendly relaxed atmosphere and is situated in a quiet elevated location, set back from the road, with about a 20 minute walk down to the city centre. Please note for those with allergies that we do have a dog and several cats – reception areas only. We accept pets by prior arrangement. We are sorry but Saturday nights are generally only available as part of a two night booking.

As a comitment to the environment we offer a discount to those travelling to Bath by train or bus, please ask when booking.

Check in is available any time from 2pm - 10pm - but we would really appreciate it if you can give us an approximate time of arrival. If you need to arrive earlier or later than this - just ask. Check out is 12 noon (give or take!).

Please note that the guest bedrooms are all on the 2nd floor and we do not have a lift, though we are very happy to help you with your luggage should you need it.
